The Deep Field gelding returned from a spell with a strong effort on this track when beaten a length and looks set to take plenty of improvement from that run. He’s unbeaten second up and gets his preferred good surface here, which ticks another big box. The stablemate looks the obvious danger, but race fitness gives our boy the edge. Ready to strike — hard to beat.”
