He looked impressive when saluting by half a length at Murray Bridge two starts back before going to Sandown and finishing 3.7 lengths behind the winner over the 1200m. The extra furlong today is what he is crying out for as his racing pattern sees him settle near the rear of the field and be saved for one crack at them in the straight. If he’s withing striking distance at the 300m mark, he will prove hard to hold out. Hard to beat.”
