Our E/W selection is the 2, who won well on debut at this track a month ago. With jockey Chad Schofield retaining the ride on the Maher-trained galloper, a back-to-back victory is well within reach.

For our roughie players, consider the 10. Still a maiden, he produced an impressive finish over 1200m first-up. The step up to 1400m suits, though he may benefit from even further. Worth keeping safe.”

Our E/W selection is the 14, the Godolphin-owned galloper now trained by Chris Waller. Having won her past two starts, she appears to handle rain-affected tracks well. With J. Mac aboard, she is a serious each-way contender.”

Our each-way selection is the 6, resuming from a spell with two trials under her belt. She has a record of winning first-up, and the booking of T. Berry, who rode her at the trials, must be respected.

For a ROUGHIE, consider the 11. Opening at 51/1, he has attracted some market support. Second-up after a solid Randwick return, he could cause an upset if one is on the cards.”
