“After finishing 2.7 lengths behind Edna at Canterbury over the 1100m a fortnight ago, the Rodney Northam trained galloper VERY SHARP looks on track to bounce back into the winners circle. This galloper gets in well with the claim for C Hillier and will carry just the 52kgs in this open event. Look for him to settle midfield, peel wide entering the straight and unleash that serious turn of foot we have seen in the past. Needs a touch of luck but if it arrives, watch out.”
